The micro pore structure of geotechnical materials or cement materials, such as structure, has a decisive influence on the macro properties of materials (such as strength, durability, corrosion resistance, etc.). The evolution of micro pores is also a very important issue in engineering mechanics, especially the role of moisture in the internal pores of materials. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) technology uses water molecules as probes to measure the moisture content and distribution in materials without destroying the samples:
a. Moisture content and pore structure of materials
b. Phase change of moisture (such as freeze-thaw damage / drying shrinkage / adsorption and desorption of moisture, etc.)
c. Water flow (such as water absorption process / infiltration process / dry wet cycle / ion migration, etc.)
d. Cement hydration process (such as setting hardening / internal curing / self repairing, etc.)
